In our alternate version of "Gentle Giant of the Serengeti," we sought to create a sense of timelessness and simplicity through the use of high key black and white. By removing the distraction of color, we were able to draw the viewer's attention to the intricacies of the giraffe's spots, emphasizing the remarkable beauty of this creature's natural design. Despite the absence of color, we hoped to convey the sense of awe and wonder that we felt as we gazed upon the majestic giraffe, and to capture a moment of timeless elegance in our art piece.
